Who we are

B2B Ambassadors is a joint venture between LadyBugz Marketing and Unlimited People Consulting (UPC). Together we are the responsible parties (as defined in POPIA) for personal information collected through this website and our programmes.

What is POPIA?

POPIA is South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act. It sets out how organisations may collect, use, store and share your personal information, and gives you rights over that information. We are committed to processing your information lawfully, fairly and transparently.

The information we collect

Information you give us. When you complete our contact form, enquire about a programme, or register for an assessment, we collect details such as your name, email address, phone number, organisation and the content of your message.

Payment information. If you purchase an assessment or programme online, payments are processed by our payment provider, Paystack. Your card details are entered directly with Paystack and are not stored on our servers.

Information we collect automatically. Like most websites, our hosting service records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. Cookies may be used to help the site work and to understand how it is used. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Why we process your information

We use your personal information to:

• respond to your enquiries and requests;
• deliver the programmes, assessments and services you ask for;
• process payments and keep records of transactions;
• send you information you have asked to receive, such as our newsletter;
• improve our website, content and services; and
• meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

We rely on your consent, the performance of a contract with you, our legitimate business interests, or compliance with the law as the lawful basis for processing, depending on the situation.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary, including with:

• our joint venture partners, LadyBugz Marketing and Unlimited People Consulting, who jointly deliver the programme;
• trusted service providers who help us operate, such as our website host, email provider and payment processor (Paystack); and
• authorities or advisors where we are required to do so by law.

Some of these providers may process information outside South Africa. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information continues to be protected to a standard consistent with POPIA.

How long we keep it

We keep your personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described above, or for as long as the law requires. When it is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

How we protect it

We take reasonable and appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, unauthorised access and misuse. No system is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to:

• ask what personal information we hold about you and request access to it;
• ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, irrelevant or out of date;
• object to the processing of your information in certain circumstances;
• withdraw consent you have given, without affecting processing that has already taken place; and
• lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
